How To Catch A Cheating Spouse

Posted by: Nic on: March 19, 2009

You know the old saying – If you suspect your spouse or partner is having an extra-marital affair, he or she probably is. An unfaithful husband, cheating wife, any kind of disloyal partner, is indeed an ugly prospect. Almost four out of five of all marriages have a period of infidelity, meaning that one of the partners cheats on the other.

I was blow away when I heard this, but I guess I should not be surprised. Do you suspect your spouse is cheating on you?  But you don’t have any proof.  Before we continue with the ways of how to catch a cheating spouse, I must forewarn you – finding actual proof that your spouse is cheating can be heart breaking. Also it can be very difficult to catch a cheating spouse. Reasonably, because most people do not know how to investigate a cheating spouse. Clues of infidelity vary widely, from situation to situation, and from relationship to relationship; making it impossible to provide a list of behaviors that are useful with a high degree of accuracy.

However, one thing is for certain cheaters often exploit their partner’s desire to trust by telling their partners exactly what they want to hear “I could never cheat on you.” Trusting a partner create a sense of security and comfort. Of course, rather than assume the worst it’s often easier to believe a “pleasant lie” than to acknowledge a “devastating truth.”

To catch a cheating spouse the key is knowledge of habits. Here are a few pointers you should keep note of if you really want to know how to catch a cheating spouse: At the beginning of an affair the mate that is cheating is more attentive to his/her spouse. After the affair has being going on for a while the person cheating seems to find fault with the person he/she may be living with to try to justify the affair in their mind. Cheating spouses may lose attention in the activities in the home. Cheaters may have a change in sex life i.e. more sex, less sex as well as unexplained sexual requests. Cell phones are a common way for cheaters to communicate with their lovers. Going out on the balcony to make or receive calls out of earshot should also raise your suspicions. When you are out there in public, and you notice that he/she acts insecure, constantly glancing behind and sideways, that’s an obvious sign.

In closing I would like to say, remember the whole reason you began this journey it was for physical proof to justify your suspicions. Sad as it is true most of us who discover our partners have been unfaithful to us go through a tsunami  of different emotions – anger, sadness, shame, dejection, sometimes even relief. It’s a grieving process, not of a person that’s died, but of a relationship and level of trust that’s instantly disintegrated.

I look forward to helping you lay your fears to rest and get on with your life.

Pet Rabbits For Kids

Posted by: Nic on: March 4, 2009

Pet rabbits for kids seem like a natural combination, and it’s tempting to want to bring a delightful furry creature into a child’s life. But any decision to choose a pet rabbit for a child must be carefully look into. Because rabbits unlike cats and dogs don’t react in the same manner to child behavior.

Rabbits have amazing abilities that evolved in these species over thousands of years. At the first sign of danger their flight response motivates them to flee. They are extremely fast, and have sharp claws and teeth. But those very aids to the rabbit may be harmful to your child.

When a rabbit feels threatened it may kick, claw or bite. Rabbit’s teeth and jaws are powerful enough to inflict a nasty wound to a child. The first step when dealing with rabbits and children is to established some basic ground rules. Teach your child to always stay alert, have them to keep their hands and arms away from its teeth, and most importantly not to startle the rabbit. Both pet rabbit and child will be happier, and so will you.

Rabbits have powerful hind legs, and whenever possible they will use them to run away at increasing speed. When they are not able to flee, they will fight back. The claws on their hind feet, even trimmed can rip a nasty cut in a child’s hand, arm or face. To reduce the odds of injury, teach your child how not to startle or stress their pet rabbit. A rabbit should always be approached slowly, never hold the rabbit when it squirms, and don’t yell or squeal in its presence. Those ears are large for a purpose!

Your child should also be taught when and how to hold a rabbit (and how and when not to). One of the myths about rabbits is that they’re cuddly. In fact, most rabbits, unlike some animals, simply don’t like to be held. However, they often enjoy human company, sitting besides someone and being gently stroked. A natural magnet for children would be their ears, but it would be a good idea to stay away from the ears, usually because the rabbit uses those for survival and interfering with them will sometimes lead to stress.

Rabbit can see almost 360 degrees around. An eye is located on each side of the head giving them a wide angle of view. But because of the placement, they have a blind spot about 10 degrees wide just below the chin. The rabbit compensates for the lack of depth perception we have from stereoscopic vision by moving its head. They judge the distance of objects by ‘parallax’ (the two different views gained from two different angles).

Educating your child about a rabbit’s visual and auditory systems will assist them to understand immensely how the rabbit approaches the world. That makes it much easier to explain why some things are safe and others are potentially harmful or stressful to a rabbit. But beyond physical safety for both the rabbit and a child, there are a number of valuable lesson to learn!

Rabbits can be trained to perform a number of amusing behaviors. Involving your child in these training sections, will benefit both the child and the rabbit. Your pet rabbit now perceives your child as a companion, and the child learns to develop skills that can be apply in many situations such as careful observation, gentle handling, patience and so on. Finally, as with all pets, a rabbit should be a “family pet” with the primary caregiver being a responsible adult.
